We, the undersigned, call for MP Caroline Nokes of Romsey and Southampton North constituency to resign for a by-election to be held due to her misconduct by breaking promises she made in parliament

The newly-elected MP for Romsey and Southampton North who once boasted she was too pretty to be in politics rushed straight from the Commons on Monday night to the four-star Kensington Close hotel in London in a taxi to meet James Dinsdale, a 27-year-old Tory councillor and former executive of the partys youth wing, Conservative Future. Mrs Nokes has been married to businessman husband Marc, 42, since June 1995 and they have an 11-year-old daughter. Mrs Nokes, who earlier this year signed up to an election pledge produced by a Christian group who say sex outside marriage is wrong, is entitled to claim back the cost of the hotel room under MPs expenses.

 The pair first met at the Tory conference in Bournemouth on October 3, 2006. Since then, the pair have run into each other at a string of Tory events. Friends say that the pair meet up for occasional casual sex.

Caroline became an MP last month, with a majority of 4,000, and proved an ultra-loyal Conservative, turning up to every vote in Parliament and always toeing the Tory line.  Dinsdale is Tory councillor for Westgate in Suffolk, yesterday he said: I can confirm Caroline Nokes and I have had a sexual relationship. I have no further comment.

Caroline is a negative role model and hypocrit, she is disrespecting all that voted for her and so we campign for her resignation and a by-election in her constituency.

Therefore we campaign for Caroline to resign for her position and for a by-election to be held the the constituency of Romsey and Southampton North. Although Caroline is entitled to a personal life, when it affects her politics so greatly it is a matter of public concern.
